Getting Help and Troubleshooting

If something isn’t working as expected, use this page to fix the most common issues quickly and find out how to reach us when you need a hand.

Most problems are solved by these four quick checks:

  • Update everything. Make sure the theme, the Shock Core plugin, Elementor, and WooCommerce are all on their latest versions. See Updating the theme.
  • Check your server. Many “white screen”, failed-import and save-error problems come from low PHP limits. Compare your setup against the Server Requirements.
  • Clear your cache. Purge any caching or optimization plugin and your CDN (for example, Cloudflare) after making changes — you may be looking at an old cached version of the page.
  • Test for conflicts. Temporarily deactivate third-party plugins to see whether one of them is the cause, then reactivate them one by one to find the culprit.

Demo import didn’t finish or looks incomplete

Section titled “Demo import didn’t finish or looks incomplete”

Almost always caused by low PHP limits (memory, max execution time, upload size). Raise them and re-run the importer. Full steps are in the FAQ and your host’s PHP settings.

Add to cart, variations, or cart totals aren’t working

Section titled “Add to cart, variations, or cart totals aren’t working”

This is often caused by an aggressive script optimizer such as Cloudflare’s Rocket Loader deferring WooCommerce JavaScript. Disable Rocket Loader (or exclude the store scripts) and clear your cache.

Re-check the steps in Activate Theme License. Activating your license also unlocks direct access to support.

The theme won’t save, or pages load slowly

Section titled “The theme won’t save, or pages load slowly”

This is almost always PHP limits again — revisit the Server Requirements and ask your host to increase them if needed.
