Activate the Theme License

When you buy Shock, your purchase entitles you to a Purchase Code. Entering it in the theme dashboard verifies that your copy is genuine, unlocks every feature, and gives you direct access to our support team whenever you need help.

Activate with your purchase code

1. Find your purchase code.

   Follow Envato’s guide to locate it: Where Is My Purchase Code? It’s a long code that looks like xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx.

2. Open the Shock dashboard.

   From your WordPress panel, go to Shock » Dashboard.

3. Enter the code and activate.

   Paste your code into the Purchase Code field and click Activate License to save.

Developing locally? Activate anyway

Even on a local or staging environment you should activate the license so that all features are available. Shock is smart enough to recognize a local setup, so your purchase code keeps working when you later move to your production site.

Deactivate the license

Each purchase code is tied to one live site. When you’re ready to move from a development environment to production — or migrate to a new domain — deactivate the license first, then reactivate it on the new site.

1. Open the Shock dashboard.

   From your WordPress panel, go to Shock » Dashboard.

2. Deactivate the license.

   Click the Deactivate License button to free up the code for use elsewhere.
