What's in the Package
When you purchase Nexgen from ThemeForest, your download is not a single file — it is a package that bundles the theme together with everything you might need around it. Knowing what each part is (and which one WordPress actually wants) saves a common first-time mistake.
The two download options
Section titled “The two download options”On your ThemeForest Downloads page, the download button for Nexgen offers two choices:

| Installable WordPress file only | Just the theme .zip — the exact file you upload to WordPress. Fastest option when you only need to install the theme. |
| All files & documentation | The complete package: the installable theme zip, licensing details, demo/import resources, and the documentation. |
What’s inside “All files & documentation”
Section titled “What’s inside “All files & documentation””If you download the full package, you will find a folder containing several items. The most important ones are:
- The installable theme zip — often nested inside the package (for example in a
themeorthemeforestfolder). This is the file you upload to WordPress. - Licensing — your license information from ThemeForest / Envato Market.
- Documentation — a copy of the help resources.
- Demo / import resources — supporting files referenced during setup.
Which file do I install?
Section titled “Which file do I install?”Upload the installable theme zip:
- If you chose Installable WordPress file only, that download is the file — upload it as-is.
- If you chose All files & documentation, unzip the package and locate the theme zip inside it, then upload that.
Once you have the right file, head to the next step and install Nexgen in your WordPress dashboard.
